The second ODI between Sri Lanka and the West Indies was abandoned without a result after persistent heavy rain made play impossible at Sabina Park.
The toss was delayed by around 30 minutes due to wet conditions, with the West Indies winning the toss and electing to field first. However, continuous rainfall prevented any further action, forcing the umpires to call off the match.
As a result, Sri Lanka continue to hold a 1-0 advantage in the three-match ODI series after winning the opening encounter.
The third and final ODI of the series is scheduled to take place on June 9, where Sri Lanka will look to seal the series victory while the hosts aim to level the contest.
