Sri Lanka all-rounder Dasun Shanaka produced a stunning batting display in the Caribbean Premier League, smashing a record-breaking century for the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots against the St Lucia Kings.
Batting first, the Patriots posted a huge 235 for 4 from their 20 overs, with Shanaka leading the charge.
Shanaka smashed an unbeaten 121 off just 43 balls, recording the highest T20 score of his career. His blistering century came off only 39 deliveries, making it the fastest century in CPL history.
He received valuable support from Andre Fletcher, who contributed a quick-fire 64.
Chasing 236 for victory, the St Lucia Kings were completely outplayed and were bowled out for just 98 runs.
Jeremiah Louis was the standout bowler for the Patriots, claiming five wickets, while Sri Lankan star Wanindu Hasaranga chipped in with two wickets.
The Patriots eventually cruised to a massive 137-run victory, with Shanaka’s extraordinary knock taking centre stage.
