The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) has officially announced that the 2025 Asia Cup cricket tournament will be hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The decision was finalized during the recent ACC Annual General Meeting held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 9 to 28, featuring eight participating nations. While the official match fixtures and venues are yet to be released, five teams — India, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Pakistan — have already qualified for the event.

This edition of the Asia Cup promises to be an exciting contest as top Asian teams compete for continental supremacy in a highly competitive T20 format.
