The England cricket team arrived in Sri Lanka this morning to take part in the upcoming bilateral cricket series against Sri Lanka, which is scheduled to get underway on the 22nd.
Officials from Sri Lanka Cricket were present at the Bandaranaike International Airport, Katunayake, to welcome the visiting English squad upon their arrival.
Adding a special touch to the occasion, the Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau also organized a welcome program for the England team.
The series between Sri Lanka and England will feature three One Day Internationals and three Twenty20 Internationals. The ODI matches are scheduled to be played on the 22nd, 24th, and 27th at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo.
The three T20 Internationals will be held on January 30, February 1, and February 3 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium.
With both teams gearing up for an exciting contest, cricket fans can look forward to an action-packed series across Colombo and Pallekele.
