The Indian women’s team completed a dominant 5–0 series victory over Sri Lanka Women in the five-match T20 International series.
The fifth and final T20I, played in Thiruvananthapuram, saw India clinch a 15-run win to cap off a flawless campaign.
Batting first, India posted 175 for 7 in their 20 overs. Captain Harmanpreet Kaur led the way with a fine 68.
For Sri Lanka, Kavisha Dilhari, Rashmika Sewwandi, and Chamari Athapaththu shared the bowling honours, taking two wickets each.
In reply, Sri Lanka Women fought hard but could only manage 160 for 7 in their 20 overs.
Hasini Perera top-scored with 65, while Imesha Dulani contributed an impressive 50.
With this result, India Women completed a comprehensive 5–0 whitewash, underlining their dominance throughout the series.
