In reply, New Zealand comfortably chased down the target in the 32nd over, losing only five wickets.
Rachin Ravindra scored a fluent 54, while Daryl Mitchell remained unbeaten on 56 to guide the team home. For England, Jofra Archer claimed three wickets.
