Official appointments were handed over yesterday to the members of Sri Lanka Cricket’s Transformation Committee at the Ministry of Sports.
The committee was appointed by the Minister of Sports with the aim of implementing structural reforms and strengthening governance within Sri Lanka cricket. A total of nine members have been included in the committee.
During the ceremony, Sidath Wettimuny, Thushira Radella, Prakash Schaffter, and Avanthi Colombage received their official letters of appointment from the Sports Minister.
Meanwhile, former cricketers Roshan Mahanama and Kumar Sangakkara, who have also been named to the committee, are currently overseas. According to the Ministry of Sports, they are expected to officially accept their appointments upon their return to the country.
