Sri Lanka began their 2025 Asian Rugby Sevens second leg campaign in style, defeating Uzbekistan 26–14 at the Racecourse Grounds, Colombo.
The Sri Lankan side scored three tries and one conversion win to secure a commanding victory.
Srinath Sooriyabandara, Gayan Perera, Chathura Sohisa, and Janidu Dilshan crossed the line for Sri Lanka.

Competing in Group C, Sri Lanka will play two more matches today — against Singapore at 5:04 PM and China at 9:50 PM.
The two-day tournament features 24 men’s and women’s teams, and all matches are open to the public free of charge.
