1. 1983 World Cup Final – India vs West Indies

India shocked the cricket world by defeating the mighty West Indies in the 1983 World Cup final. Led by Kapil Dev, India defended a low total of 183 and bowled out the West Indies for just 140. This victory changed Indian cricket forever.

5. 1999 World Cup Semi-Final – Australia vs South Africa

South Africa needed just one run to win, but a mix-up between Lance Klusener and Allan Donald led to a run-out. The match ended in a tie, and Australia went to the final because of a better group-stage record.

6. 2011 World Cup Final – India vs Sri Lanka

West Indies needed 19 runs off the last over. Carlos Brathwaite hit four consecutive sixes off Ben Stokes to win the match. Ian Bishop’s famous commentary, “Remember the name, Carlos Brathwaite!”, made this moment legendary.
