The National Olympic Committee of Sri Lanka has officially announced the Sri Lankan squad for the Asian Beach Games 2026 during a special meeting held in Colombo.
The 6th edition of the Games is scheduled to take place in Sanya from April 22 to April 30, with the opening ceremony on April 22 and the closing ceremony on April 30.
Sri Lanka will be represented by a 109-member delegation, including 77 athletes. The squad features 40 male and 37 female athletes competing across eight sporting disciplines.
The events Sri Lanka will participate in include beach athletics, beach kabaddi, beach handball, beach volleyball, 3×3 basketball, open water swimming, beach wrestling, and sailing.
Team Sri Lanka now gears up to make an impact on the continental stage as they head to Sanya for this prestigious multi-sport event.
