Bangladesh Dominates Day Two with 484 on the Board

Shanto, Mushfiqur, and Litton steer Bangladesh to a massive first-innings total

The second day of the first Test match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, part of the two-match Test series, concluded today (18th).

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Bangladesh posted a commanding 484 runs for the loss of 9 wickets by the end of the day.

Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored a solid 148, Mushfiqur Rahim contributed a brilliant 163, and Litton Das added a valuable 90 runs to guide Bangladesh to a strong total.

For Sri Lanka, Asitha Fernando, Milan Rathnayake, and Tharindu Ratnayake each took 3 wickets.
