The 95th edition of the prestigious Battle of the Maroons between Ananda College and Nalanda College kicked off today at the SSC Grounds in Colombo.
For the first time in history, the encounter is being played as a three-day match.
Nalanda College won the toss and opted to bowl first. This year, Sadew Samarasinghe leads the Nalanda team, while Ashinsha Nainayaka captains Ananda College.
