The International Cricket Council has officially issued a warning to Scotland batter George Munsey during the 2026 T20 World Cup.
The disciplinary action follows an incident in Scotland’s match against Nepal, where Munsey was found to have breached the ICC Code of Conduct.
According to an ICC statement, after being dismissed in the match, Munsey threw his helmet onto an advertising board near the boundary. The act was deemed a misuse of cricket equipment during an international fixture.
He has been charged with improper use of cricket equipment or clothing and accessories during an international match, which falls under a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct.
