New Zealand secured a 9-run victory over the touring West Indies in the third T20I played today at the Nelson Stadium, taking a 2–1 lead in the five-match series.
Batting first, New Zealand posted 177 runs for 9 wickets, with Devon Conway scoring 56 and Daryl Mitchell adding 41. For the West Indies, Matthew Forde and Jason Holder claimed two wickets each.
In reply, the West Indies were bowled out for 168 in 19.5 overs. Romario Shepherd top-scored with 49, while Shamar Springer contributed 39 runs.
For New Zealand, Jacob Duffy and Ish Sodhi starred with the ball, each taking three wickets to seal the win.
