The Pakistan secured a 128-run victory over the Bangladesh in the second One Day International of the three-match series played in Mirpur.
After winning the toss, Bangladesh invited Pakistan to bat first. Pakistan were bowled out for 274 runs.
Opening batters Maaz Sadaqat and Sahibzada Farhan provided a strong start, adding 103 runs for the first wicket.
Sadaqat played an aggressive innings, scoring 75 off 46 balls, while Farhan contributed 31 runs.
Salman Ali Agha scored 64 runs before being run out, and Mohammad Rizwan added 44 runs.
For Bangladesh, Rishad Hossain took 3 wickets, while Mehidy Hasan Miraz claimed 2 wickets.
In reply, Bangladesh lost their first three wickets for just 15 runs. The match was briefly interrupted due to bad weather in the seventh over and later resumed under the Duckworth–Lewis–Stern method, revising the target to 243 runs in 32 overs.
However, Bangladesh struggled and were bowled out for 114 runs in the 24th over. Litton Das scored 41, while Towhid Hridoy made 28 runs.
With the ball, Sadaqat and Haris Rauf took three wickets each, while Shaheen Afridi picked up two wickets.
Bangladesh had won the first ODI, but Pakistan’s victory in the second match has levelled the three-match series 1-1.
