Pakistan scripted history by successfully chasing a mammoth target of 352 runs against South Africa with just four wickets down, marking their highest-ever run chase in ODI history.
After winning the toss, South Africa elected to bat first. They posted an imposing total of 352/5 in their allotted 50 overs.
Captain Temba Bavuma scored 82 runs, Matthew Breetzke contributed 83, and Heinrich Klaasen top-scored with 87 runs.
Chasing this daunting target, Pakistan suffered early blows, losing three wickets for just 91 runs.
However, vice-captain Salman Ali Agha and skipper Mohammad Rizwan steadied the innings with a record-breaking 260-run partnership for the fourth wicket.
Rizwan remained unbeaten on 122, while Agha played a sensational knock of 134 runs, guiding Pakistan to victory.
The final match of this triangular series between Pakistan and New Zealand is set to take place in Karachi on the 14th.
