Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) stormed into the grand final after a comprehensive 8-wicket victory over Punjab Kings yesterday.

Batting first, Punjab Kings were bowled out for just 101 runs, thanks to a clinical performance by the RCB bowlers.

  • Suyash Sharma and Josh Hazlewood picked up 3 wickets each,
  • while Yash Dayal grabbed 2 crucial wickets.
  • Marcus Stoinis top-scored for Punjab with 26 runs.

In response, Phil Salt led the chase with a blazing unbeaten 56, steering RCB to victory in just 10 overs, losing only 2 wickets.

With this victory, RCB booked their place in the final, while Punjab Kings have one last chance. They will face the winner of today’s match between Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Titans for a spot in the final.
