The first One Day International (ODI) cricket match between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh will be played tomorrow at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The ODI series consists of three matches.

The first two matches of the Sri Lanka-Bangladesh ODI series will take place at the R. Premadasa Stadium. As part of their preparations, the Sri Lankan players trained at the venue this afternoon.

So far, the two countries have faced each other in 57 ODIs. Of these, Sri Lanka has won 43 matches, while Bangladesh has claimed victory in 12. Two games ended without a result.

Bangladesh last toured Sri Lanka for an ODI series in 2019, when Sri Lanka secured a 3-0 series sweep. Notably, Bangladesh has never won an ODI series in Sri Lanka.

At the R. Premadasa Stadium, the teams have met in 10 ODIs, all of which were won by Sri Lanka.

In tomorrow’s match, Sri Lanka will be led by Charith Asalanka, while Mehidy Hasan will captain Bangladesh for the first time.
