Batting first, South Africa Masters posted a competitive total of 180/6 in 20 overs, with Hashim Amla leading the charge with a solid 76 runs. Isuru Udana and Chaturanga de Silva were the standout bowlers for Sri Lanka, claiming two wickets each.
