The Sri Lanka Women’s Cricket Team bounced back to defeat the Bangladesh Women’s Team by 4 wickets in the second ODI in Rajshahi, leveling the three-match series 1-1.
Sri Lanka’s bowlers delivered a strong performance to bundle out Bangladesh for just 165. Skipper Chamari Athapaththu led from the front with 3 wickets, while Malki Madara, Nimasha Meepage, and Inoka Ranaweera picked up two wickets each.
For Bangladesh, captain Nigar Sultana top-scored with 58.
In reply, Sri Lanka chased down the target in 39 overs, finishing at 166/6. Harshitha Samarawickrama scored a solid 50, while Chamari Athapaththu and Hansima Karunaratne contributed 40 each.
Nahida Akter impressed with the ball, picking up 4 wickets for 21 runs, but it wasn’t enough to stop Sri Lanka.
