The Champions League football tournament, organized by the Football Federation of Sri Lanka, commenced yesterday.
The opening match was played between Moragasmulla and Pelicans.
At halftime, Pelicans led 1–0.
In the second half, Moragasmulla scored an equalizer, and the match ended 1–1, with no result for either side.
The second match was played between Police SC and Super Sun.
Police dominated the first half with three goals, while Super Sun managed to score one goal during the match.
Accordingly, Police SC secured a 3–1 victory.
Both matches were played at the Colombo Race Course Grounds.
