Curacao has made history by becoming the smallest nation ever to qualify for the FIFA World Cup.
They secured qualification after their match against Jamaica in the qualification round ended without a defeat.
Previously, Iceland held the record as the smallest country to play in a FIFA World Cup. Iceland competed in the 2018 World Cup, with a population of just 391,000.
Curacao, which has now qualified for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, has an even smaller population of around 155,000.
According to the latest FIFA World Rankings, Curacao currently sits in 82nd place.
