After winning the toss and opting to bat first, Afghanistan posted a solid total of 169 for 5 in their allotted 20 overs. Ibrahim Zadran led the charge with a classy 65, while Sediqullah Atal smashed 64, building a strong platform for their side. For Pakistan, Faheem Ashraf was the pick of the bowlers, picking up 2 wickets.
In reply, Pakistan faltered under pressure, finishing on 151 for 9 at the end of their 20 overs. Surprisingly, their highest scorer was pacer Haris Rauf, who struck a fighting 34 runs, while the top order struggled against disciplined bowling.
