Australia sealed the three-match ODI series with a 2–0 lead, defeating India by 2 wickets in the second ODI played yesterday at Adelaide.

Batting first, India posted 264 for 9 after a mixed performance with the bat. Rohit Sharma top-scored with a solid 73, while Shreyas Iyer added 61. However, Virat Kohli fell for a second consecutive duck, putting pressure on the middle order.

For Australia, Adam Zampa was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets, while Xavier Bartlett chipped in with 3 crucial scalps.

In reply, Australia held their nerve to chase down the target with 22 balls to spare, finishing on 265 for 8. Matthew Short smashed 74, and Cooper Connolly guided the chase with an unbeaten 61 under pressure.

Among the Indian bowlers, Arshdeep Singh, Harshit Rana, and Washington Sundar claimed two wickets apiece.

With this victory, Australia take an unassailable 2–0 lead in the ODI series, reaffirming their dominance over India in a thrilling contest
