On the second day of the third Test between New Zealand and the touring West Indies, New Zealand opener Devon Conway put his team firmly in control with a magnificent double century.
Resuming their first innings on 334 for 1, New Zealand continued their dominance and went on to declare at 575 for 8 during the third session of Day 2, inviting the West Indies to bat.
Conway was the standout performer, producing a splendid Test innings of 227 runs, while fellow opener Tom Latham contributed a solid 137. Kane Williamson added 31, Rachin Ravindra remained unbeaten on 72, and Ajaz Patel chipped in with an unbeaten 30.
For the West Indies, Jayden Seales, Anderson Phillip, and Justin Greaves claimed two wickets each, while Kemarr Roach and Roston Chase picked up one apiece.
At stumps on Day 2, the West Indies reached 110 without loss in their first innings, with John Campbell unbeaten on 45 and Brandon King on 55, setting up an intriguing third day.
