Rising Indian youth cricket sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi (14) has been honoured with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar, India’s highest civilian award for children.
The award was presented to him by President Droupadi Murmu at a special ceremony held at the Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.
The Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar is awarded to children aged 5 to 18 who demonstrate exceptional talent in fields such as sports, innovation, social service, culture, and more. This year, 20 outstanding young achievers from across the country were recognised with the award.
Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s next major target is the Under-19 World Cup, scheduled to begin on January 15 .
He is set to take the field representing the India Under-19 team, as he continues his remarkable rise in youth cricket
