The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is set to resume on May 17, following a temporary suspension due to rising tensions between India and Pakistan. The league was put on hold on May 9, but organizers have now confirmed that action will resume with a full schedule.

A total of 17 matches remain in the tournament, to be played across six venues in India. According to the official announcement made yesterday, the remaining fixtures will include 13 league stage matches and 4 playoff games.

The restart will kick off with a high-voltage clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), set to take place in Bengaluru on May 17.

The grand finale of IPL 2025 is scheduled for June 7, bringing the season to an exciting close.

With the tournament back on track, fans can expect thrilling cricketing action and high-stakes encounters as teams battle for a spot in the playoffs.
