At the 107th Annual General Meeting of the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) held on the 27th, Mahesh de Alwis was re-elected as the Chairman of the association.
Representing David Pieris Group of Companies, de Alwis secured the position for the second consecutive term, continuing his leadership in advancing mercantile cricket in Sri Lanka.
