New Zealand emerged victorious in the tri-nation ODI series featuring Pakistan, South Africa, and New Zealand. They secured the title with a five-wicket win over Pakistan in the final match.
Batting first, Pakistan was bowled out for 242 runs. Mohammad Rizwan top-scored with 46 runs, while Salman Agha and Tayyab Tahir contributed 45 and 38 runs, respectively.
For New Zealand, Will O’Rourke claimed four wickets, while Michael Bracewell and Mitchell Santner took two wickets each.
In response, New Zealand comfortably chased down the 243-run target in 45.2 overs, losing only five wickets. Daryl Mitchell led the charge with 57 runs, Tom Latham scored 56, and Kane Williamson added 34.
Pakistan’s Naseem Shah managed to take two wickets.
With this triumph, New Zealand remained unbeaten throughout the tournament, securing a confident entry into the upcoming Champions Trophy set to take place in Pakistan.
