Patum Nissanka Claims Player of the Match Award Once Again in ILT20

Sri Lanka’s Pathum Nissanka shone once again as he claimed the Player of the Match award in his team’s second game of the ILT20 tournament.

Pathum represents the Gulf Giants franchise in the tournament.

The match between Gulf Giants and Dubai Capitals was played yesterday in Dubai.

Batting first, Dubai Capitals posted 160 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their 20 overs. Dasun Shanaka remained unbeaten on 23 runs.

With the ball, Azmatullah Omarzai took 3 wickets for the Giants.

In reply, Gulf Giants chased down the target, scoring 161 runs for 6 wickets in 18.5 overs to secure victory.

Pathum Nissanka played a brilliant knock of 67 runs off just 31 balls, hitting four sixes and six fours.

He was named Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
