Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has officially announced that the sixth edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be held from July 8 to August 8, 2026.
The tournament, which was initially scheduled to take place this December, has been postponed to next year as preparations are underway to ready the pitches and facilities for the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup, set to be played in February.
As in previous years, five teams will compete in the sixth edition of the LPL, now scheduled for mid-2026.
