The second T20 International between Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe is set to take place today in Harare as part of the three-match series.
Sri Lanka’s tour of Zimbabwe was scheduled with two ODIs and three T20Is. The ODI leg has already been completed, with the visitors securing a 2–0 series sweep.
The opening T20I, played on February 3rd, saw Sri Lanka claim victory by four wickets. However, Zimbabwe put up a strong fight, posting 175 runs after batting first. Sri Lanka had to battle until the final over to chase down the target, with Kamil Mendis’ brilliant knock proving the decisive factor.
Heading into today’s contest, Sri Lanka will look to carry their winning momentum and seal the T20I series. On the other hand, Zimbabwe will be determined to correct their mistakes from the first game and level the series.
The match is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM Sri Lanka time.
