Sri Lanka showcased its middle-distance strength at the 4th South Asian Athletics Championships in India, clinching both silver and bronze medals in the men’s 1500m event.
Rusiru Chathuranga earned the silver medal, finishing the race in 3 minutes 55.12 seconds, while Rojideen Mohamed followed closely behind to claim the bronze medal, giving Sri Lanka a proud double on the podium.
