The 95th Battle of the Maroons continued into its second day today at the SSC Grounds in Colombo, with Ananda College maintaining their upper hand in the match.
At the start of play, Ananda College resumed their first innings at 154/3. They eventually declared at 324/6, thanks to a magnificent century by Dinada Athalage, who scored 131 runs. He was well supported by Kenul de Sohisa, who contributed 73 runs.
By the end of the day, Nalanda College had reached 58/0 in their first innings, showing resilience as they prepare for the final day tomorrow.
