The International Cricket Council (ICC) has officially announced the venues for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
According to the ICC, matches in India will be played at the Ahmedabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, and Mumbai stadiums. In Sri Lanka, games will take place at two venues in Colombo and one in Kandy.
The tournament, featuring 20 teams, is scheduled to run from February 7 to March 8, 2026.
The group stage will consist of four groups, with the top two teams from each progressing to the Super 8s. The Super 8 matches will then be divided into two groups, and the top two teams from each will advance to the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will face off in the grand final to determine the 2026 T20 World Champion.
In a special arrangement, all of Pakistan’s matches will be hosted in Sri Lanka. Furthermore, if Pakistan qualifies for the final, the T20 World Cup Final will also be played in Sri Lanka, as confirmed by the ICC.
