India vs New Zealand – Champions Trophy Final Set for Dubai Showdown

Historic clash as India and New Zealand battle for glory in Dubai.

The final match of the Champions Trophy One-Day International (ODI) tournament will take place today at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The grand finale will see India, led by Rohit Sharma, take on New Zealand, captained by Mitchell Santner.

Head-to-Head Record

India and New Zealand have faced off 119 times in ODIs, with:
✅ India winning 61 matches
✅ New Zealand securing 50 victories
✅ 7 matches ending with no result
✅ 1 match resulting in a tie

At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, the two teams have played one ODI before, which India won.

Champions Trophy History

🏆 India has won the Champions Trophy twice – in 2002 and 2013. In 2002, they shared the title with Sri Lanka due to a rain-affected final.
🏆 New Zealand won the Champions Trophy in 2000, their only title so far.

The final match is set to begin at 2:30 PM IST, with both teams aiming to add another prestigious trophy to their cabinet.
