Batting first, the Indian team posted 284 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted overs. KL Rahul starred for India, scoring a superb 112 runs, anchoring the innings.
In reply, New Zealand chased down the target comfortably, reaching the required score with only three wickets down in 47.3 overs.
