New Zealand sealed a 3–1 series victory over the touring West Indies after an eight-wicket win in the fifth and final T20 match held today in Dunedin.
Batting first, the West Indies were bowled out for 140 runs. Roston Chase top-scored with 38, while Romario Shepherd contributed 36. For New Zealand, Jacob Duffy took 4 wickets, and James Neesham claimed 2.
In reply, New Zealand reached 141 for 2 with 26 balls to spare. Devon Conway remained unbeaten on 47, and Tim Robinson made 45. The wickets for the West Indies were taken by Romario Shepherd and Shamar Springer.
With this win, New Zealand wrapped up the five-match T20 series 3–1. Jacob Duffy was named Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his outstanding bowling performances.
