Pakistan Announce 17-Man Squad for Asia Cup 2025

Pakistan have unveiled their 17-man squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament, set to begin on September 9 in the United Arab Emirates.

The squad will be led by all-rounder Salman Ali Agha, while senior stars Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan have been rested for the campaign.

The squad features a mix of experience and young talent, with Shaheen Shah Afridi, Fakhar Zaman, Haris Rauf, and Mohammad Nawaz bringing balance in both batting and bowling departments.

Promising players like Saim Ayub, Hasan Nawaz, and Sahibzada Farhan have also earned call-ups, highlighting Pakistan’s intent to test depth ahead of the ICC tournaments.

The Asia Cup 2025 promises to be an intense battle, with Pakistan aiming to prove their strength under a new-look leadership in UAE conditions.
