India wrapped up the final ODI against Australia in style, claiming a dominant 9-wicket victory in Adelaide yesterday. Despite the win, Australia secured the series 2–1.

Batting first, Australia were bowled out for 236 runs, with Matt Renshaw (56) and Mitchell Marsh (41) offering the main resistance. For India, Harshit Rana starred with the ball, taking 4 wickets, while Washington Sundar added 2 crucial scalps.

In response, the Indian top order cruised to the target with ease. Rohit Sharma led from the front, smashing an unbeaten 122, his 33rd ODI century, while Virat Kohli supported him superbly with 74 not out. The pair guided India home in the 39th over, losing just one wicket along the way.

Shubman Gill was the only wicket to fall after scoring 24 runs.

Although India took the win in the final match, Australia had already sealed the three-match ODI series 2–1. Rohit Sharma was named Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his remarkable performance.
