The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) has temporarily suspended the membership of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF). This marks the third time in eight years that Pakistan has faced an international football ban.
According to FIFA regulations, Pakistan’s failure to amend its football governance structure was the primary reason for the suspension. Reports indicate that since June 2019, the administrative affairs of the Pakistan Football Federation have been managed by a committee appointed by FIFA.
