The Annual General Meeting of the International Cricket Council has been postponed indefinitely due to the escalating security situation in the Middle East.
The meeting was originally scheduled to be held in Doha, Qatar from March 25 to March 27, 2026.
The gathering was expected to bring together members of the ICC’s Board of Directors, executive officials and committee representatives to discuss key matters related to international cricket for 2026.
However, the ICC has now announced that the meeting has been postponed because of the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.
According to the governing body, there is a strong possibility that the meeting will be rescheduled in April, with another country likely to host the event.
Further details regarding the new venue and dates are expected to be announced soon.
