Sri Lanka’s Roshan Ranatunga impressed at the 4th South Asian Senior Athletics Championships in Ranchi, India, clinching the silver medal in the men’s 110m hurdles. He completed the race in 13.90 seconds, with the gold medal going to an Indian athlete.
In the women’s 100m hurdles, Lakshika Sugandhi added another medal to Sri Lanka’s tally by winning bronze, finishing in 13.98 seconds. The gold and silver medals in this event were both claimed by Indian athletes.
