Australia completed a clean sweep at the World Indoor Cricket Championship, claiming all four major titles — the Open Men’s, Open Women’s, Under-22 Men’s, and Under-22 Women’s crowns — in a dominant display of skill and consistency.
The tournament, jointly organized by the World Indoor Cricket Federation and the Ceylon Indoor Cricket Association, concluded recently at the Talawatugoda Indoor Stadium after 10 days of thrilling competition featuring teams from nine nations.
New Zealand finished as runners-up in all four finals, while the defending champions Australia successfully retained their titles from last year — highlighting their continued supremacy in the indoor format.
Participating nations included Sri Lanka, Australia, New Zealand, England, India, USA, UAE, South Africa, and Singapore.
