India has advanced to the final of the International Masters League T20, defeating Australia in the first semi-final held in Raipur, India.
Winning the toss, Australia opted to bowl first, allowing India to set a challenging total of 220/7 in 20 overs. Yuvraj Singh played a stellar innings, while Sachin Tendulkar contributed 42 runs. Xavier Doherty and Daniel Christian took two wickets each for Australia.
In reply, Australia struggled and were bowled out for 126 in 18.1 overs. Ben Cutting top-scored with 39 runs, while Shahbaz Nadeem starred with the ball, claiming 4 wickets.
India secured a comprehensive 94-run victory, booking their place in the final. The second semi-final between Sri Lanka and the West Indies is set to take place later today.
