New Zealand ended Day 3 of the Test series opener against the West Indies with a commanding 481-run lead, tightening their grip on the match in Christchurch.
West Indies began the day with New Zealand on 32/0, but the hosts continued to pile on the runs throughout the day.
Devon Conway fell first for 37, dismissed when the score reached 84. Soon after, veteran Kane Williamson was removed for 9 by Kemar Roach.
However, the momentum swung strongly back to New Zealand as Rachin Ravindra and Tom Latham stitched together a massive 279-run partnership for the third wicket.

By stumps on Day 3, New Zealand stood at 417/4, extending their overall lead to a commanding 481 runs.
