Sri Lanka sealed the three-match T20I series against Zimbabwe with a commanding eight-wicket victory in Harare, completing the series 2–1. The win was highlighted by Sri Lanka’s successful chase of their second-highest run target in T20I history.

After winning the toss, Sri Lankan captain elected to bowl first, sending Zimbabwe in to bat. The hosts posted a competitive total of 191/8, with Tadiwanashe Marumani scoring 51, supported by contributions from Sikandar Raza (28), Ryan Burl (26), and Sean Williams (21).

Sri Lanka’s bowling attack was led by Dushan Hemantha (3 wickets) and Dushmantha Chameera (2 wickets).

In reply, Sri Lanka’s batting order was unstoppable. The chase was completed in just 18 overs with only two wickets down, finishing on 193/2. Kamil Mishara stole the spotlight with an unbeaten 73, while Kusal Perera (46), Pathum Nissanka (33), and Kusal Mendis (30) provided valuable support.

This successful pursuit of 191 runs entered the record books as Sri Lanka’s second-highest chase in T20I cricket.

With this result, Sri Lanka claimed the T20I series 2–1.

Kamil Mishara was named Player of the Match for his outstanding innings, while Dushmantha Chameera earned the Player of the Series award for his consistent performances.
