The Gajaba Supercross motor racing event, held today at the Saliyapura track in Anuradhapura, showcased an action-packed day with 24 competitive races featuring some of the country’s best drivers and riders.
Ashan Silva was crowned the Best Car Driver, after dominating the main SLGT 3500CC event, where he secured first place ahead of Manish Gunatilleke and Ishraq Wahab. Meanwhile, Jacques Gunawardena emerged as the Best Motorcycle Rider, securing victory in the premier motorcycle event. D.M.D. Kalhara and Tharuka Ramesh finished second and third respectively in that category.
The event once again highlighted the prestige of the Gajaba Supercross, bringing together top talents in Sri Lanka’s motor racing scene.
