The star of the innings was Kamil Mishara, who smashed 61 runs to register his fourth T20 half-century. His entertaining knock came off 40 balls and included four boundaries and three sixes.
Former captain Dasun Shanaka provided the late fireworks, scoring 58 runs to bring up his ninth T20I half-century and propel Sri Lanka close to the 200-run mark.
Chasing 195 for victory, the West Indies were bowled out for 157 runs in 18.1 overs.
Rovman Powell top-scored for the hosts with 43 runs, while Shimron Hetmyer added 36.

Spin duo Wanindu Hasaranga and Dunith Wellalage also played key roles, with Hasaranga claiming three wickets and Wellalage picking up two.
