The New Zealand team has become the first in the world to secure 500 international rugby wins. They have been competing in international rugby matches since 1982.
Regarded as the world’s most outstanding rugby team, New Zealand earned their 500th victory by defeating France.
At the end of the first half of that match, New Zealand led by 21 points to 13. They went on to win the game by 31 points to 27.
So far, the New Zealand team has claimed the Rugby World Cup title on three occasions — in the years 1987, 2011, and 2015.
